In this mode the SunCooler completely seals off outdoor air and recirculates indoor air only, driving warm ceiling air down to the occupied zone with a high-velocity turbulent column.

How Destratification Mode Works – Powerful Recirculation Without Outside Air
In Destratification Mode the SunCooler™ completely seals its internal dampers to outdoor air and recirculates indoor air only. It creates a powerful high-velocity turbulent air column that pulls warm air from the ceiling and drives it straight down to the occupied zone.
This breaks up temperature stratification layers, equalizes floor-to-ceiling temperatures, and delivers far superior mixing and rack penetration than conventional low-speed HVLS fans or other destratification methods. (See our alternatives page for details.)
