10. Does the SunCooler work in clean rooms?

No. While we can apply additional filters to the SunCooler, it is not rated or certified for clean-room environments (such as silicon wafer fabs). The SunCooler is ideal for supporting non-cleanroom areas such as backend assembly, chemical supply, maintenance shops, and warehouses within semiconductor and electronics facilities.

11. Can the SunCooler replace dedicated smoke exhaust fans?

Not yet. The SunCooler is not currently certified as a smoke exhaust fan. However, smoke-exhaust certification is actively in our product development pipeline and we expect to offer a certified smoke-control version in the near future. In the meantime, the SunCooler excels at general process exhaust, fume removal, and daily ventilation.

12. Can the SunCooler maintain facility positive pressure?

Yes. There is an optional pressure sensor module available for this purpose. The SunCooler will autonomously follow your programmed building-pressure setpoint by modulating the fresh-air mix and damper position while still delivering the required ventilation and destratification performance.
